The Lock & Key Boudoir Experience

What to expect from your texas boudoir session

Every Lock & Key boudoir session in Fort Worth begins long before you even step in front of the camera. From your first consultation to the moment your finished images are in your hands, every step is intentional, guided, and built around you.

Here's what to expect.

The Consultation

Every Fort Worth boudoir session starts with a conversation. We offer both in-person and phone consultations, but we strongly recommend meeting in person. Clients consistently tell us it made them more comfortable the day of their session. We talk about why you're doing this, what you're looking for, and where your comfort levels are. Nothing is assumed. Nothing is rushed.

Selecting Your Date

Once we've connected you are ready to move forward, we select your session date. A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required to secure your spot. At that point you'll receive your welcome packet which contains everything you need to feel confident and prepared walking into your session. No guessing, no wondering what comes next.

Hair & Makeup

Select experiences include professional hair and makeup with our trusted artists. Whether you arrive camera-ready or sit in our chair first, you'll be taken care of. We'll discuss your look in advance so the day feels seamless, not stressful.

Your session

This is where it happens. Your boudoir session at our private home studio in north Fort Worth is fully guided from start to finish. Every pose, every angle, every expression...we walk you through it. You don't need experience in front of a camera. You don't need to feel confident walking in. That's our job to create a boudoir experience where that comes naturally.

The Reveal

After your session you'll view your images in a reveal appointment. We offer either same day unedited viewings or a scheduled fully retouched reveal. The choice is always yours. Every image is hand retouched by a real human. No AI editing, no batch processing, and no body shape alterations. You select your favorites, and we handle the rest.

Your Finished Images

Your high-resolution digital gallery is delivered through a private online portal. Physical products including luxury albums, couture boxes, and keepsakes are ordered at your reveal appointment.  Album spreads are designed by us and sent to you for approval before anything goes to print. Once your order is complete and has passed our quality check, everything is hand delivered to you with white glove care.

What if ...

I'm nervous. I'm Not the right type for this. I'm not photogenic.

We hear these questions every single day. And we mean that. Almost every client who walks through our door arrives with at least one of these thoughts running through her head. Here's what we know after years of doing boudoir photoshoots in DFW: there is no type, nerves fade within the first few minutes, and nobody is unphotogenic. They just needed a view they never saw before.

Every pose, every angle, every expression is directed to reveal you. You will never be left wondering what to do. The women that swear they hate every photo ever taken of them are often the ones who end their reveal in tears because they cannot believe what they are seeing.

You don't have to arrive confident. You just have to arrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Does a Boudoir Session Take?

That depends on the experience you choose. Our shortest session runs 30 minutes for clients who arrive camera-ready, while our full luxury boudoir experiences run longer to accommodate hair, makeup, and multiple looks. We only book one client per day to ensure you have our full attention, and the studio is entirely yours. During your consultation we'll walk through exactly what to expect based on the experience you select.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Should I wear to my boudoir session?

Whatever makes you feel most like yourself. Lingerie, bodysuits, oversized sweaters, something meaningful to you personally are all fair game. If you're not sure where to start, your welcome packet includes a full style guide plus you'll have access to our size-inclusive client closet that runs from size XS-4XL the day of your session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to Use the client closet?

We get it. Not everyone loves the idea of sharing intimate apparel. Your session, your rules. Bring what makes you feel like yourself and wear what feels right. The client closet is there as a resource, not a requirement. Every piece is hand-washed and sanitized between clients, but you are never obligated to use it. Many of our favorite sessions happen in pieces that meant something to the person.

Our studio is located in my private home in north Fort Worth. You will never share the space with another client. No waiting rooms, no strangers, no one coming and going. Frequently Asked Questions

How Far in Advance Should I book?

We recommend booking at least six to eight weeks in advance. Lock & Key limits sessions to four clients per month to ensure every person who walks through our door gets our full attention and our best work. This also gives us time to coordinate your hair and makeup artist, give you time to explore your welcome packet, and make sure you feel completely prepared walking into your session. Clients who want to spread their investment over time can book up to 12 months in advance to accommodate payment plans.  Reach out sooner rather than later, availability goes fast.

A non-refundable $500 retainer is required to secure your date upon booking and your remaining balance can be broken into monthly payments leading up to your session. We also accept Affirm, Klarna, and PayPal for additional flexibility. Payment plan details are finalized during your consultation so we can find what works best for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I need to Reschedule?

Life happens. If you need to reschedule, just give us at least 7 days notice and your retainer will be applied to your new date. No shows forfeit all payments made unless the circumstances were an emergency, which we handle on a case by case basis.

Your Images,

Your Choice

Every client controls what happens to their images. After your session we will discuss image release options that give you full say over how or if your photos are used. We offer anonymous, general, and specific release options, or no release at all. While we deeply appreciate when clients allow us to share their work, because it helps other women recognize themselves in what we do, we completely respect those who choose to keep their images private. Your story belongs to you.
